As a Business Data Analyst, you will: 

  • Become an expert in Data Clean Rooms, starting from Amazon Marketing Cloud, always keeping yourself updated on new possibilities and certifications. 
  • Become the linchpin between large, privacy-compliant databases and our business teams, ensuring data is not just accessed but understood and acted upon. 
  • Craft SQL queries that not only fetch data but do so in a way that's aligned with our strategic objectives, refining them as those objectives evolve. 
  • Ensure the correct functionality of internal processes and execute improvements when necessary. 
  • Collaborate with business teams to find the answers to the clients’ questions, ensuring insights are accessible to all stakeholders. 
  • Suggest possible new queries and analyses to bring to clients based on your knowledge of the data. 
  • Work on a process to optimize the minor changes to be done to recurrent queries, that might make the queries accessible also to non-technical users. 
  • Enhance our culture of innovation by identifying and integrating new data sources, technologies, and analytical methodologies.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Fluent English (at least B2). Knowledge of Italian is preferred;
  • At least 1 year working experience in querying large SQL databases. Experience with Data Clean Rooms would be preferred;
  • Capacity to autonomously translate a business request into a SQL query, that will be tested during the interview process;
  • Experience in interpreting data coming from the query and understanding possible data errors without input from other teams. This is not a purely technical role. An aptitude for Business Intelligence and for cooperation with client-facing teams is essential;
  • Experience in communicating insights from data to internal teams;
  • Previous Experience with Data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is preferred;
  • Previous Experience with Data Sourcing and Engineering is preferred;
  • Analytical and business-oriented mindset;
  • Ability to manage, prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, roll-up sleeves attitude and willingness to learn.
