Digital Retex is the Digital&Business Performance practice of Retex and currently it's expanding its Tech Team in Milan and Padova, through building a dynamic and creative team working on exciting projects for our clients in the Fashion&Luxury world.
We are looking for passionate and skilled Front-End Engineer to join our team and take part in the development of Web Applications and E-Commerce projects. The new team member will have the opportunity to work with major brands in the Fashion&Luxury industry and contributing to creating high-level digital experiences on cutting-edge projects, utilizing modern and innovative technologies.
As a Front-End Engineer you will:
- develop and maintain web applications with a focus on front-end features;
- collaborate with the design team to implement user-friendly interfaces;
- optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability;
- ensure all code is readable, well-commented, and efficiently structured;
- work with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic;
- utilize frameworks such as Vue.js and Nuxt.js, and when required, React and Next.js;
- stay up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies.
Job requirements
The ideal candidate:
- strong knowledge of web development technologies and frameworks (Vue.js and Nuxt.js or React and Next.js);
- proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern build tools;
- experience with responsive and adaptive design;
- familiarity with front-end testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, Cypress, etc;
- ability to enhance team competence by mentoring, leading code reviews, promoting best practices, organizing training, encouraging a learning environment, fostering innovation, and ensuring documentation;
- ability to empower team autonomy and establish a feedback culture;
- previous experience with e-commerce projects, especially within the Fashion&Design industry be a plus;
- ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks;
- good interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams and good communication skills;
- proficient English and Italian.
